2026 is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years in the history of Disneyland Paris. With World of Frozen finally arriving, a fantastic parade making its return, and hotel updates on the horizon, it feels like Disneyland Paris is about to enter a whole new era.
Here’s what’s coming to Disneyland Paris in 2026:
World of Frozen: Opening in Spring 2026
The biggest update is, of course, the opening of World of Frozen in the newly renamed Disney Adventure World.
Disney Adventure World
Walt Disney Studios will be renamed Disney Adventure World to coincide with the opening of the World of Frozen.

World of Frozen
Disneyland Paris has announced that the much-anticipated World of Frozen will open in Spring 2026. Spring runs from March 20 to June 20 but the exact date is anyone’s guess – personally, I think it will be sometime after Easter (early April 2026) and have already booked multiple visits so I can experience World of Frozen as soon as possible!!
Highlights we already know about:
- Frozen Ever After will finally arrive in Paris: this attraction will feature a boat ride through Arendelle with advanced animatronics and immersive sets.
- A towering North Mountain with Elsa’s Ice Palace and Arendelle Castle will completely change the park’s skyline.
- An Anna & Elsa meet-and-greet will give guests a chance to meet the sisters in their own themed royal setting.
- A brand-new nighttime spectacular on the central lake will use fountains, projections, and drones to tell Frozen’s story in the sky and on water.
It’s easily the biggest addition since Disneyland Paris opened in 1992, and it’s going to be the main reason many of us plan extra trips in 2026!
Adventure Way and the Regal View Restaurant
To tie the expansion together, a new walkway called Adventure Way will open alongside Frozen and will bring some fantastic additions:
- Regal View Restaurant & Lounge — a dining spot with views over the new lake and nighttime show. Early details suggest princess character dining could be part of the experience.
- A Tangled-themed family ride which is perfect for younger visitors.
Sequoia Lodge Refurbishment
Outside the parks, Disney’s Sequoia Lodge is getting a major refurbishment. We’ve stayed in Disney Sequoia Lodge numerous times and really love the theming and aesthetic. This update should refresh the rooms and public areas while keeping that cabin-in-the-forest feel.
With Frozen becoming the park’s big focus, the Sequoia Lodge’s wintry, nature-inspired vibe feels more fitting than ever.
A Million Splashes of Colour Returns
One of the most joyful additions in recent years, the A Million Splashes of Colour parade, will be back in early 2026.
It first debuted in 2024 and quickly became a fan favourite with its rainbow floats, energetic performers, and catchy soundtrack. Its return means Main Street will once again be filled with daytime colour. We were lucky enough to catch A Million Splashes of Colour during a visit in 2024 and can’t wait to experience it again.
Princess Week
Late August has become the home of Princess Week at Disneyland Paris, and that looks set to continue in 2026. The 2025 Princess Week featured all 13 official Disney Princesses so we’re hoping 2026 will be just as impressive.
Halloween and Christmas 2026 at Disneyland Paris
Two of our favourite times to visit Disneyland Paris are during the Halloween and Christmas seasons.
- Halloween – The park transforms into a playful yet spooky wonderland with pumpkins, ghosts, and mischievous décor, while Disney Villains take center stage in shows, parades and meet-and-greets.
- Christmas – Walking into Disneyland Paris at Christmas is like stepping straight into a storybook. Main Street U.S.A. shimmers with twinkling garlands, shop windows sparkle with festive displays, and the giant Christmas tree towers over Town Square, setting the tone for the magic ahead. Everywhere you turn, the parks feel alive with holiday cheer — from characters in their winter costumes and Santa’s warm welcome, to the Christmas parade and castle projections that light up the evening sky.
Looking Beyond 2026: The Lion King
Construction begins in late 2025 on a Lion King-themed land, including a major water attraction. It won’t open in 2026, but the first signs of progress should be visible during visits next year.
