There are some great additions this year, including brand-new Halloween outfits for Mickey and friends, new decorations throughout Main Street, U.S.A., the return of The Unlucky Nugget Saloon and a special programme for 31 October.

When is Halloween at Disneyland Paris in 2026?
Disney Halloween Festival runs from 26 September to 1 November 2026.
The Halloween celebrations are centred around Disneyland Park, where you will find seasonal decorations, Halloween character meets, Disney Villains, Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, Halloween food and seasonal merchandise.
The Halloween entertainment is included with normal Disneyland Park admission.

What’s happening during Halloween 2026 at Disneyland Paris
Here’s what to expect during the 2026 Halloween season at Disneyland Paris:
New Mickey and friends Halloween costumes
This is probably one of the 2026 additions we are most excited about!
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck all have brand-new Halloween outfits this year with a wonderfully spooky Victorian feel. Mickey appears as a mystical count, Minnie as a witch, Donald as a vampire and Daisy as a glamorous bat lady.
Mickey and Minnie appear above the train station to welcome guests to Disneyland Park.

Donald and Daisy are hosting a meet and greet together at the Boarding House in Town Square. Their meet begins during Extra Magic Hour and they are extremely popular so line up early!

Vampire Stitch at Casey’s Corner
Another Extra Magic Hour Meet and Greet, Stitch has joined the Halloween celebrations in his vampire outfit. He meets guests at the Casey’s Corner Gazebo on Main Street, U.S.A.
Vampire Stitch is always hugely popular and I expect this meet to be one of the busiest of the season.

Jack Skellington and Sally
Jack Skellington and Sally have returned for Halloween 2026. Their meet and greet takes place in Frontierland and requires a Virtual Queue reservation.
Jack and Sally are always incredibly popular during Halloween, so make sure you understand how the Disneyland Paris Virtual Queue works before your visit. There really is no better time of year to meet the Pumpkin King!

Disney Villains at Disneyland Paris Halloween
Halloween is one of the best times of year to see Disney Villains at Disneyland Paris.
We saw villains including Maleficent, Cruella de Vil, Gaston, Jafar, the Queen of Hearts and, a new addition this year, Dr. Facilier.

The Evil Queen and Maleficent are appearing by the Castle Stage in a show called Enchantment. After a short walkaround on the stage they come down to the crowd and interact with guests for photos and autographs. This was a highlight for us!

Dr. Facilier is meeting in Frontierland and is fabulous!

Gaston is hanging out by the Old Mill, Cruella is outside Meet Mickey Mouse in Fantasyland and Lady Tremaine and Her Daughters are found in the Castle Courtyard in Fantasyland. These meet and greets are informal and the Villians select guests to interact with.

We also met Jafar, Captain Hook and the Queen of Hearts.

The Halloween Parade: Mickey’s Halloween Celebration
Mickey’s Halloween Celebration returns for 2026 and is one of the highlights of the Halloween season.
The colourful Halloween cavalcade is filled with pumpkins, lanterns, autumn foliage, hay bales and some characters we do not see nearly enough during the rest of the year.
Daisy Duck leads the procession and the character line-up includes favourites such as Clarabelle Cow and Horace Horsecollar. One of the highlights is Mickey aboard Mickey’s Manor of Illusions, where he performs his brilliant rapid costume changes during the parade.
We love this parade. It is colourful, fun and much more autumnal than genuinely spooky, so it works brilliantly with younger children too.

New Halloween decorations for 2026
Disneyland Park always looks incredible during Halloween and Main Street, U.S.A. got a substantial refresh for 2026.
The new decorations include around 40 additional pumpkins and 170 candles featuring Mickey and friends although we do miss the Main Street garlands.

Halloween on Main Street after dark
Make sure you spend some time on Main Street after dark during Halloween.
Seasonal projections transform the buildings once the sun goes down and give the whole area a much darker and more mysterious atmosphere.
We loved the nighttime Halloween atmosphere last year. The park feels completely different once all the pumpkins, projections and lights come to life.

Día de los Muertos in Frontierland
Frontierland gets its own colourful Halloween transformation around Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia.
The Día de los Muertos decorations are bright, colourful and completely different from the darker Phantom Manor side of Frontierland.
It is one of the prettiest areas of the park during Halloween and is always great for photos.

The Unlucky Nugget Saloon
One of the biggest hits of Halloween 2025 was The Unlucky Nugget Saloon, and it is returning for 2026.
For Halloween, The Lucky Nugget Saloon is transformed into a Phantom Manor-inspired dining experience based around the wedding reception that should have taken place for Melanie Ravenswood.
The restaurant combines themed decorations, eerie music, lighting and special effects to create the feeling of an abandoned Ravenswood wedding celebration.
Disneyland Paris Halloween food and snacks
Disneyland Paris always has a huge selection of seasonal food during Halloween.
For 2026, some of the first announced treats include the Devilish Brookie at Market House Deli and Ursula’s Curse Cake at Victoria’s Home-Style Restaurant.
There will also be additional Halloween creations inspired by Disney Villains and the Mischief Makers.
Trying the seasonal snacks has basically become part of our Halloween routine at this point.

M&M’S Halloween treasure hunt
The M&M’S Halloween treasure hunt is returning for 2026.
Guests can pick up a map from Cast Members and search around Disneyland Park for mysterious doors and clues located throughout the different lands.
Once you have completed the hunt, you can head to Boardwalk Candy Palace to collect your Halloween treat.
It is a really cute extra activity if you are visiting with children and gives them something different to do between rides and character meets.
Halloween merchandise
Disneyland Paris will also have a new Halloween merchandise collection for 2026.
During opening weekend the hottest items seemed to be a Pumpkin Mickey shoulder plush, a Halloween themed football jersey and the Skeleton Mickey popcorn bucket.
The seasonal collections tend to appear across several shops in Disneyland Park and Disney Village, with Emporium usually having one of the largest selections.

Disneyland Paris on Halloween Day
If you can visit on 31 October itself, I absolutely recommend it. We spent Halloween Day at Disneyland Paris last year and it was honestly amazing.
The biggest difference is that 31 October is the one regular park day of the year when adult guests are allowed to wear full Halloween costumes, rather than being limited to Disney bounding or normal clothing. There are occasionally separate ticketed or special events during the year (most recently it’s been the Annual Pass Parties) where costumes may also be permitted, but for a normal park day, Halloween itself is the one to know about.
Last year we went all out and the 5 of us went with a Nightmare Before Christmas theme with 2 Jack’s and 3 Sally’s roaming the park! We had so much fun! There were costumes everywhere and the whole park felt like it was part of Halloween.
For 31 October 2026, Disneyland Park is scheduled to remain open until 11pm.
There is no separate Halloween party ticket. The special Halloween programme is included with normal Disneyland Park admission.

Rules for Halloween Costumes at Disneyland Paris
Adults normally cannot enter Disneyland Paris dressed in full Disney character costumes, but Halloween itself is an exception for regular park admission. Disneyland Paris still has costume rules for safety and to avoid confusion with official Disney Characters.
Adult guests should not wear full face-covering masks, costumes should not trail along the ground and fake weapons or anything that could pose a safety risk are prohibited.
Guests dressed as Disney Characters should also not pose for photos with other guests or behave in a way that could make them appear to be an official Disneyland Paris Character.

Is Disneyland Paris Halloween scary for children?
Not really. Disneyland Paris Halloween is much more fun, mischievous and colourful than genuinely frightening.
There are spooky elements, particularly around Phantom Manor and some of the Disney Villains, but there are also smiling pumpkins, colourful ghosts, autumn decorations and characters dressed in fun Halloween costumes.
We have always found it a brilliant season with children.

Is Halloween only in Disneyland Park?
The main Disney Halloween Festival takes place in Disneyland Park. That is where you will find Mickey’s Halloween Celebration, the majority of the Halloween characters and Villains and most of the seasonal decorations.
There are also autumn and Halloween touches around the Disney Hotels and Disney Village, but Disneyland Park is where you will experience the full festival.
Disney Adventure World remains open as normal during the season and can obviously still be included in your trip but it is business as usual!

When is the best time to visit Disneyland Paris for Halloween?
Any time!
If costumes are important to you, then 31 October is the obvious choice, as that is the regular park day when adults can dress up too.
We loved being there on Halloween itself last year, but it is definitely a date I would expect to be busy. Last year it was at capacity and it felt busy the entire day.

Is Disneyland Paris worth visiting for Halloween?
For us, absolutely. We visit Disneyland Paris throughout the year but Halloween is one of the seasons we look forward to most.
Disneyland Park suits Halloween ridiculously well. Main Street covered in pumpkins, Frontierland after dark, Phantom Manor, the Disney Villains and all the seasonal Character outfits make it feel completely different from a normal visit.
And if you can visit on 31 October, even better.
Being able to dress up as a whole family last year made it one of our most memorable Disneyland Paris days.
With the new Halloween costumes, refreshed Main Street decorations and expanded Unlucky Nugget Saloon coming for 2026, we cannot wait to see what Disney Halloween Festival looks like this year.
